Luxuriate in the kind of warmth that you find the most pleasing and feel the best with – either indoors or outdoors.

A variety of temperatures and various kinds of saunas give you the freedom of choice a holiday guest is entitled to expect from us. Choose your very own kind of warmth and enjoy it as you wish.
In the Brennseehof, our guests can also enjoy a sauna in the morning, as well as use the steam rooms, infrared room and tepidarium!
All of the sauna facilities at the Brennseehof, both indoor and outdoor, are switched on “ready for a sweat” at 15.00! We would be pleased to switch on the sauna facilities in the Hotel “Alte Post” and “Seehof” for you on request!

Sauna experiences into the hotel:
Finnish sauna
(80 – 90°C)
The "Finnish sauna" is one of the most well known sauna varieties in the world. A visit to the sauna lets us block out everyday stress and renew our strength, while helping the body to nurture its own powers to resist illness.
Aroma and herbal grotto (50°C)
The moist, warm air of the aroma grotto has the gentle yet thorough effect of cleansing the skin and breathing passages. Circulation is stimulated, muscle tension eases, and aches in arms, legs and joints diminish. This cleansing effect may be reinforced with the aid of vapours from selected natural herbs.
The "Blue Room" tepidarium (35 – 40°C)
The room temperature, the same as the body's, and the heated benches and walls favour development of a healthy form of fever which fortifies the immune system without putting a strain on the circulatory system. The tepidarium is both preventive and therapeutic in effect, while at the same time offering ideal conditions for relaxation and regeneration to young and old alike. The use of the colour blue serves to reinforce the relaxing and calming effect.
Infrared cabin with colour light therapy
(40 – 50°C)
Deep warmth is applied specifically, having a soothing effect that relieves pain and can speed up recovery from illness. In addition, it improves blood circulation, strengthens the immune system, eases muscle tension, reduces cellulite production and clears the skin.
Each individual colour used in colour light therapy has a special effect on the body.
Yellow, for example, purges the body, while the colour blue works in a calming manner, encouraging sleep.

The "Finnish sauna" is one of the most well known sauna varieties in the world. A visit to the sauna lets us block out everyday stress and renew our strength, while helping the body to nurture its own powers to resist illness.
Herbal sauna with lakeside panorama (steam bath)
Thanks to gentle, pleasant temperatures of up to 50°C and a high humidity, circulation is stimulated, improving the blood supply to the skin. You literally "let off steam", resulting in relaxation yet at the same time new vitality. Expansive glass surfaces reveal an unhindered view of the natural surroundings, lending to a feeling of utter relaxation and freedom.
Sauna with snow and ice
Enjoy the unique ambience in the natural lakeside sauna with its breathtaking panoramic views over the snow-clad mountains and frozen lake.
An added bonus for our braver guests is the lake, which can be also used as a plunge pool in winter, thanks to its ice-free entry ladder.
