Angling close by
A holiday by the lake with other stretches of still and running water close by - you will simply have to grab your rod! In addition the Brennsee itself and neighbouring Lake Afritz are also popular owing to their rich and diverse stocks of fish. Native species include zander, carp, trout, tench, eel, perch (chub), bass and various other white fish. Even pike or catfish have been caught.

Trout fishing is possible on request - a 15 kilometre long mountain stream lies only 20 minutes from the Brennseehof. Pike fishing starts around the middle of May.

Archery
In the past, this was the other form of hunting apart from fishing - but today we only aim at brightly coloured targets. And of course only under the instruction of professional coaches, who will familiarise children and young people with the impressive sporting bows.
Guests with Sports Cards can take part in archery free of charge every Thursday and Friday.
