Unique winter combination

The village on the frozen lake with a guaranteed frozen lake from Christmas right through to the beginning of March and skiing only 10 km - 15 minutes by car - in the World Cup ski resort of Bad Kleinkirchheim, with 32 lifts and 80 km of runs.
The ski bus runs several times a day from the hotel to the resort and a hotel bus for children will take them to the Krainer Sports School and then back to their day care nanny.

The frozen lake by the door with a 40 cm thick ice sheet for wintry adventures, around you the mountains and the fantastic ski resort of Bad Kleinkirchheim - the emphasis is on winter sports and the outdoors at the Brennseehof.
But it is also on relaxation and indoor pleasures. Saunas, steam rooms, herbal and aroma grottos, indoor pool with whirlpool, waterfall, fitness room - and of course the extensive Asia Health and Spa Centre is also available to you. And if perhaps your mother has a real need for some down-time, then she is at the right place too. Our childcare will ensure that she can enjoy her time without a care in the world

Fun on the ice
The Brennsee lake is only a snowball's throw away from the Brennseehof - a beautiful, large sheet of ice with 3.5 km of prepared tracks and pitches for ice skating, ice hockey, ice sailing and curling. We also have a frozen tennis court available for ice dancers and for your child’s first tentative steps on the ice. Skates are available free of charge from the hotel.
The day simply flies by on cross-country skis
The frozen lake is also an ideal surface for an enjoyable cross-country ski - guaranteed no inclines. A circuit is around 4 km, as is the winter walking route which follows it. There is another cross-country route in the village, some 6 km long, and in nearby Bad Kleinkirchheim there are a further 25 km of tracks. Cross-country skiing is a unique endurance sport that is simple to learn and yet is still a calm respite from the stresses of everyday life - you will experience and feel at one with the natural countryside.
Through the snow on two runners
You can slide downhill just as easily on a disc, on a bob or even on the seat of your pants - you can do whatever you want on the toboggan slope adjacent to the hotel. Wrap yourself up warmly, pull on your snow boots and then rush out into the winter and into the snow! Nearby there is a well-tended and floodlit toboggan slope for a traditional tobogganing party. A special experience for our younger guests is our sled with horsepower - but mum and dad will enjoy our four-legged horse-drawn sleigh trip too! Complimentary loan of sledges for adults and children!
Snow bikes - downhill sitting down
Snow biking is simply so much fun and is nevertheless a very dynamic sport - angle turns and cool slaloms included.
