Nature's ice rink: Thick ice by the front door
The Brennsee lake is lucky in winter thanks to its size and position: a sheet of ice up to 40 cm thick transforms it into a paradise for ice-sailors, ice-skaters, cross-country skiers and winter hikers. A tennis court directly adjacent to the hotel also freezes over, an invitation to all of our younger guests for a game of ice hockey. The curling rink on the frozen lake, close to the hotel, is a further draw for curlers. Curling stones and ice-skates can be loaned from the hotel free of charge.
The expansive health, spa, sauna and beauty zone positioned between the lake and the hotel awaits you to round off a wonderful day in the fresh, clear winter air. Warmth and relaxation will then creep back into every last cell of your body - pure "feel good"!
