Hotel Brennseehof has long gone beyond being a mere sports hotel, a kids hotel and a multiple award-winning 4-star superior hotel: it embodies the perfect lakeside holiday experience for the whole family – all year round. The wonderfully peaceful and sunny location by the lake with the surrounding sports, leisure and spa facilities is a unique place for sports enthusiasts and active families. We offer comfy, family-friendly rooms and apartments in various sizes with stunning views of the lake.

The hotel has a bathrobe corridor connecting it directly with the aquatic “Seewellness” adventure world. Several heated indoor and outdoor pools and a large beach (7,000 m²) with a lawn for sunbathing and sun chairs provide plenty of space for relaxation. Our guests are enthusiastic users of the eight different saunas in the hotel and by the lake as well as the ASIA-Wellness-Centre. Covering an area of more than 15,000 m², the spacious leisure and sports facilities provides enough space for the whole family.

We offer all-round child care for large and small children, guaranteeing lots of fun and variety – our own youth programme completes our offer. Thanks to the wide-ranging combination of sporting activities, we can call ourselves the number one kids sport hotel in Austria. The Brennseehof is also known for its Alpine-Adriatic cuisine with local specialities from the Carinthia and Friuli regions. In addition, the Brennseehof is a member of the Kinderhotels Europa, the Tennishotels Austria and the Mountain Bike Holidays. The house has also been awarded the Carinthia Quality Seal among others for its overall performance.

Enjoy the Mediterranean climate by the lake in the natural green surroundings of Feld am See. Lake Brennsee has been awarded a first-class water quality seal by the State of Carinthia and in summer it reaches a pleasantly warm 25 °C.

In winter, it is covered by a 40-cm-thick layer of ice, perfect for ice skating, cross-country skiing and games of ice hockey.

The Nockberge Mountains are ideal for hiking tours up to the rustic alpine huts or for breathing in fresh mountain air on a bike tour.
