The hushed sensations of the Nockberge Biosphere Reserve make for a wonderful hiking area. The 34-kilometre-long Nockalmstraße offers a variety of different starting points for hiking trips of different lengths and difficulty levels. It leads to the Schiestlscharte and the Eisentalhöhe, each located around 2,000 metres above sea level. Popular hiking trails, easy to manage by inexperienced walkers, lead to the Königstuhl and the Kolmnock. By following the well-marked hiking trails from the Nockalmstraße road, you can reach them in less than two hours.
